At Troy, I was also mainly involved in Speech and Debate, Mock Trial, FBLA, Varsity Wrestling, and Peer Tutoring. On the side, I founded a podcast with my friends and wrote a few articles on Medium. Mock Trial was one of my central activities in high school that really sparked my interest in law.

Nanette Zhang

Class of 2021

NZ

Indiana University · Kelley School of Business

Hi everyone! My name is Nanette Zhang and I am currently majoring in marketing at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. At Troy, I was involved with public forum in speech and debate and was president of Future Business Leaders of America. Currently, I’m part of the Public Relations team for my school’s fashion magazine (SEASON MAGAZINE) while serving as the Politics + Activism Web Writer at META MAG. Speech and debate was the thing that got me really interested in communication and nuances between various perspectives. Despite serving creative teams currently, I am still able to implement deep research and synthesis skills from speech and debate to formulate marketing campaigns or articles. Feel free to reach out if you may have any questions!
